The Black Spanish Radish boasts a captivating ebony exterior that encases crisp, piquant white flesh. With its round globe shape or elongated cylindrical form, this heirloom variety offers a striking presence on the plate. The characteristic sharp and earthy flavor of this root vegetable is a bold addition to fresh salads, and it can also be roasted or sautéed to coax out a milder, sweeter essence. Often sliced paper-thin, it adds a crunchy and visually appealing contrast when gracing charcuterie boards or garnishing rich, hearty dishes. Nutrient-rich, Black Spanish Radishes provide beneficial antioxidants, vitamin C, and essential minerals, aligning culinary intrigue with healthful virtues.

About the Producer
Paul and Lindsey Sorah started Hearts of Harvest farm with their friends Mark and Stephanie Golden back in 2017. They started out on 2 acres of land in Arnoldsville, Georgia and have since expanded to over a hundred, where they grow a wide range of vegetables, mushrooms, and flowers. A fun fact about Paul and Mark is that before starting the farm, they were in the same progressive hard rock band. There's a lot of musical talent on this farm! Explore >
