FAQs
Is Fresh Harvest a subscription service?
Yes, the weekly produce basket delivered to your front door is our invitation into the local food movement, and it’s how we expand the market for every small-scale, organic farmer and sustainable food producer in Georgia. There are various sizes and types to select from, and box contents change weekly to provide the season’s best. Don't forget they are fully customizable from Tuesday 2pm to Friday 2pm the week prior to delivery! Prefer spinach over turnips, or want to add-on locally roasted coffee and pasture raised eggs? Adjust between the range of options in your produce box and a la carte each week. If you’ll be away, you may also choose to skip or donate any order up to the Friday prior to delivery.
Is all of your produce organic?
We partner with farmers who grow food the right way. We meet with each farmer we work with, and if they are not yet certified organic due to cost or red tape, but pass our 'beyond organic' standards, then we send their produce your way! We try to support as many local growers as we can, as well as encourage a healthy regional food system.
How do I skip a delivery when going on vacation?
If you’re heading out of town, you may opt to "Skip" or "Donate" any upcoming orders before Friday at 2pm, the week prior to delivery. If you'll be away for a longer period of time, you can manage your schedule using the pause deliveries calendar.
What type of packaging should I expect when my order arrives?
We invest heavily in reusable packaging materials. Your order will arrive via our refrigerated trucks in an insulated plastic tote, we pick these up each time we drop off your next order. It will be kept cool with ice packs and insulation, which you also send back to us for continued use along with any compostable food containers from your most recent order. We are committed to a "no-waste" mentality across food and packaging. We purchase and deliver according to exact orders and nothing more, reducing food waste. At the end of each week, our coolers are empty & fresh produce arrives the following week.
What does satisfaction guaranteed mean?
If you wouldn't have picked it out of the garden yourself, please tell us! We try to be 100% accurate when packing your goods, but we are humans and not machines, so we do make mistakes from time to time. If you get an item that’s not top quality, or if your order is incorrect, please send us a text or email and we will make it up to you every time, no questions asked!
