Baby Kale presents itself as a tender and milder alternative to its fully-grown counterpart, perfect for those who prefer a gentler flavor. These young leaves exude a soft green hue and showcase a delicate, slightly curly edge, inviting a fresh and sweet nuance to the palate. Nutrient-dense and boasting a subtle earthy tone, Baby Kale is lauded for its versatility in the kitchen. It is effortlessly incorporated into raw salads, smoothies, and sandwiches without the need for cooking, unlike mature kale varieties. When lightly sautéed or steamed, its succulent leaves tenderize, making it a complementary side dish or a nutritious addition to pasta, soups, and grain bowls. Baby Kale is a nutritional powerhouse, brimming with vitamins A, C, and K, calcium, iron, and antioxidants, supporting overall well-being.
Wrap the baby kale in a paper towel and store in a plastic bag in the refrigerator. Do not cut stems or wash until use!
