The heritage breed hogs at Rogers Greens & Roots are fed a diet of certified organic grain and scraps from their organic farm. They are a farrow to finish operation, which means they raise their own piglets. This heritage breed grows slower and has a richer flavor than typical pork.

Rodgers Greens and Roots Farm is a certified organic farm, located 30 minutes southwest of Atlanta in Douglasville, Georgia, on 64 acres of historic farmland along the Chattahoochee River. Currently, 16 acres of flat clay-loam soil are under cultivation using organic practices. We primarily grow greens, roots, summer fruits, herbs and pasture raised meishan hogs.
