We are proud to offer an incredibly rare and special coffee: La Primavera Pink Bourbon! The term "Pink Bourbon" refers to the variety, or subspecies of the coffee plant. This variety is a selectively-bred hybrid of red and yellow bourbon varieties, resulting in some incredibly unique tasting notes that cannot be found in other coffees. The coffee was grown by Freddy Correa at his farm, La Primavera, where he has gained renown for cultivating excellent Pink Bourbon coffees.
La Primavera Pink Bourbon is very fruit-forward, with crisp apple notes and juicy peach flavors. Also look for sweet caramel flavors and tingly acidity, adding to the complex flavor experience from this unique coffee. We prefer to brew this coffee using filter methods, and especially a Hario V60, Kalita Wave, or Chemex.
