Green Coriander, also known as cilantro or Chinese parsley, is a fragrant herb with delicate, lacy green leaves and a distinctive, bright citrusy flavor. Its tender stems are just as flavorful and can be used in cooking as well. Favored in a variety of global cuisines, including Mexican, Asian, and Middle Eastern dishes, Green Coriander is often sprinkled over curries, mixed into salsas, or tossed into salads for a burst of freshness. Whether used as garnish or as a key ingredient, its lively taste is essential in guacamoles, marinades, and chutneys. This versatile herb is rich in vitamin K and has some antioxidant properties, rounding out its appeal as a healthful addition to any meal.
