Cutting Celery, often regarded as the unsung hero of the kitchen, presents itself with slender, hollow stalks and a delicate array of vibrant green leaves. A relative to the more commonly known celery, this variety bursts with an intense flavor that's more herbaceous and concentrated. It's perfect for heightening the taste profile of soups, stews, and stocks, adding a profound aromatic quality to each dish. Unlike its counterpart, Cutting Celery is favored for its leaves and thin stalks, which garnish and enhance salads, dressings, and sandwiches. This culinary enhancer is a wonderful source of vitamins and antioxidants, bringing both zest and nutrients to your plate.

About the Producer
Just a few minutes down the road from the Fresh Harvest office and warehouse, there's a small piece of property on a pond in the woods. Farmer Cody Burnett faithfully manages the cultivation of this land with his team of farmhands from the Clarkston community. Together they plant and harvest an inordinate amount of organically grown produce, both for Fresh Harvest customers and for the Share the Harvest Market in Clarkston. Growing culturally relevant food for refugees from around the world means that the Fresh Harvest Garden looks a bit different than most Georgia farms, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Explore >
