Pea Shoots, the young, tender leaves and tendrils of the pea plant, exude a delightful essence of sweet green peas. With their curly, delicate tendrils and vibrant green leaves, pea shoots offer a crisp, tender texture and a fresh, grassy flavor with a subtle pea-like sweetness. They add a bright, springtime appeal to salads, sandwiches, and garnishes, and provide a quick, nutritious boost when tossed into stir-fries, pasta, or risotto just before serving. Pea Shoots can be enjoyed raw or lightly cooked, and they harmonize beautifully with ingredients like lemon, mint, radishes, and cheese. Rich in vitamins A, C, and K, as well as folate and fiber, these sprightly greens are as nutritious as they are flavorful.

About the Producer
Paul and Lindsey Sorah started Hearts of Harvest farm with their friends Mark and Stephanie Golden back in 2017. They started out on 2 acres of land in Arnoldsville, Georgia and have since expanded to over a hundred, where they grow a wide range of vegetables, mushrooms, and flowers. A fun fact about Paul and Mark is that before starting the farm, they were in the same progressive hard rock band. There's a lot of musical talent on this farm! Explore >
