Looking for a new way to prepare collards or leafy winter greens? We’ve got a recipe for that! We’re ditching tradition and taking fresh approach to collard greens with the raw Shredded Collards Salad.
This one is a true “throw-it-together” recipe! All you need is five minutes and a few simple ingredients.
Shredded Collards Salad

Serves: 2
Ingredients
- 1 bunch collard greens, sliced into very thin ribbons. Grab collard greens from your local farmers in the shop!
- 1 orange or satsuma, peeled and sliced into thin rounds
- 2 tsp water
- 3 tsp miso (sub soy sauce or tamari)
- 2 tsp rice vinegar or lemon juice
- 2 tsp tahini or peanut butter
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Preparation
- Whisk water, miso, rice vinegar, and tahini together to prepare dressing.
- Toss dressing with shredded collards and orange slices, top with sesame seeds.
