Honey & Rosemary Roasted Figs

by Dishing Up the Dirt

Prep Time: 5 minutes  |  Cook Time: 10-12 minutes  |  Serves: 4

  • 12 fresh figs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 3 teaspoons minced fresh rosemary (or 1 teaspoon dried)
  • crumbled goat cheese
  • flakey sea salt
  • 1-2 tablespoons runny honey

  1. Preheat the oven to 425F.
  2. Cut the stems off the figs and slice them in half lengthwise. Rub the oil over the figs and place them in an oven proof skillet or small roasting pan cut side up. Sprinkle the figs with the rosemary and crumble with a little goat cheese. Place the figs in the oven and roast until the cheese is bubbly and the figs are soft and tender, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with flakey sea salt and drizzle with honey. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
