Squeaky Green started as a cleaning service in Atlanta, Georgia. Thrown together with a mop and broom balanced on the handlebars of a bicycle, Maria cleaned hundreds of houses. From day one Squeaky Green used handmade and homemade cleaning products. They kept the formulas that worked and scrapped what couldn’t rise to the challenge. Maria began learning as much as she could about the inherent cleaning properties of natural materials and read the latest science and researched the old fashioned ways of doing things.
