Citrus basil, also known as lemon basil or lime basil, is a type of basil (Ocimum × citriodorum) that has a distinct citrus flavor and aroma. This variety is a hybrid between sweet basil and African basil, and it is known for its bright, lemony or lime-like scent and taste. Citrus basil is often used in culinary applications where a fresh, citrusy flavor is desired, such as in salads, marinades, teas, and desserts.
Paul and Lindsey Sorah started Hearts of Harvest farm with their friends Mark and Stephanie Golden back in 2017. They started out on 2 acres of land in Arnoldsville, Georgia and have since expanded to over a hundred, where they grow a wide range of vegetables, mushrooms, and flowers. A fun fact about Paul and Mark is that before starting the farm, they were in the same progressive hard rock band. There's a lot of musical talent on this farm!
