Cranberry Hibiscus Greens present a stunning visual and culinary delight, with their deep magenta-hued, slightly wavy leaves that add a vibrant pop of color to any dish. These tender leaves possess a tart, cranberry-like flavor that brings a refreshing twist to salads and garnishes. The greens are also a delightful addition to wraps, sandwiches, and slaws, imparting a unique, tangy taste. Beyond fresh preparations, they can be lightly sautéed to mellow the tartness, making them a colorful contribution to stir-fries and mixed greens. Cranberry Hibiscus Greens not only offer a visual feast but also contribute a noteworthy vitamin C content, making them a healthful and flavorful choice for those looking to brighten up their meals.

About the Producer
Just a few minutes down the road from the Fresh Harvest office and warehouse, there's a small piece of property on a pond in the woods. Farmer Cody Burnett faithfully manages the cultivation of this land with his team of farmhands from the Clarkston community. Together they plant and harvest an inordinate amount of organically grown produce, both for Fresh Harvest customers and for the Share the Harvest Market in Clarkston. Growing culturally relevant food for refugees from around the world means that the Fresh Harvest Garden looks a bit different than most Georgia farms, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Explore >
How To Prepare
Many cultures sautee the hibiscus leaves and use them in place of any recipe you'd use spinach for.
