About the Producer
Organically Grown Company was founded in 1978 by a group of gardeners, small-scale farmers, hippies and environmental activists with a shared vision to expand the availability of and demand for organic produce. They started the business as a non-profit which quickly evolved into a community-led cooperative with a mission to develop a fair and just marketplace. Simply wrap the stalks loosely in foil and store in refrigerator. The key is to wrap the stalks snugly enough to prevent the rhubarb from drying out—but not airtight (no need to tightly crimp) so ethylene can escape.
