Cubanelle Peppers, with their signature glossy and wrinkled appearance, boast a beautiful, vibrant yellow-green hue that may mature to rich red tones if allowed to ripen. Characterized by their long, tapered body and broad shoulders, these mild peppers offer a light, slightly sweet flavor with a hint of spiciness far milder than traditional bell peppers or spicy chili varieties. Crisp and juicy when raw, they hold their shape well upon cooking, making them perfect for a variety of dishes. Cubanelle Peppers are often used in salads, salsas, and as a color-adding ingredient in stir-fries and Italian sausage sandwiches. Thanks to their thin walls, they are exceptional for quick cooking methods, and their delicate sweetness shines through when roasted, sautéed, or stuffed with an array of fillings. Nutrition-wise, they are a source of vitamin C, vitamin A, and fiber.
