In 1926 Mary became the eleventh child born to a loving farm family in rural Kansas. She grew up to be a beautiful girl and was whisked off her feet by a Southern gentleman - Cooper from Mississippi. Mary and Cooper moved to the South and quickly embraced Southern hospitality mixed with the joy of farm life.

It was from these roots that Cooper's Cheese Straws were born; where Cooper the Rooster reminds us to rise and shine every day!
