Plant. Eat. Repeat. Workshop Series

Wednesday 9/29 & 10/6 – 6pm, Saturday 10/1 & 10/9 – 11am

Join Food Well Alliance & Atlanta Botanical Gardens for a workshop series at community gardens across Metro Atlanta. These workshops are great for experienced and beginner gardeners – get hands-on teaching and demos from experts on perennials, pollinators, composting & self-watering. King of Crops Field Day

Saturday, October 3rd – 11am-4pm

Celebrate the end of Summer at King of Crops Farm in Winston, GA! Enjoy the last of the sunflowers, toss water balloons, win some relay races, eat pops and harvest muscadines – all in one afternoon. There will be local food, live music, handmade jewelry, vintage goods, hula hoops, fire and fun. Tickets are $5 (or $20 with three drinks!).


Kite Day at Decatur Farmers Market

Wednesday, October 6th – 4-7pm

Join Community Farmers Markets as they start a new tradition with the first ever Kite Day at Decatur Farmers Market. It’s a perfect windy spot to bring your kite to make the most of the fall breeze. Follow CFM on Instagram for updates.


Pick & Pack Muscadines and Scuppernongs with Concrete Jungle

Saturday, October 9th – 10am-1pm

Join Concrete Jungle at a beautiful vineyard in Sparta, just outside of Milledgeville, to celebrate fall fruits! This vineyard is home to almost 12 acres of grapes, with 13 different varieties growing. Sign up with a friend to pick and pack grapes, which will go to communities in need. Sign up here.

Georgia Apple Festival

October 9th & 10th, October 16th & 17th

Head up to Elijay this October for the 50th annual Georgia Apple Festival! You can expect over 300 vendors, on-site demos, a parade, antique car show, and – of course – lots of apples! Tickets are $5 for adults and free for children under 10. More info here!


Mulberry Fields Gone Wylde

Saturday, October 23rd – 2-8pm

Join the Wylde Center at the Mulberry Fields garden in Candler Park! The evening will include live music, food, and drinks from Wild Heaven and Three Taverns. Plus, Fresh Harvest will be there offering some fun veggie-centric kids activities. We hope to see you there!

Year Round Growing with Truly Living Well

Join Truly Living Well for their Gardening 101 series! You’ll learn the financial benefits and investments needed to grow year round as well as sustainable and economical tips for doing so.
