Pad Kra Pao Recipe

Pad Kra Pao Recipe

By Chef Ree Paw

For our monthly team potluck last week Grocery Add-ons Team Lead Ree Paw made one of her go-to dishes, Pad Kra Pao (Pork & Holy Basil Stir Fry). Lucky for us (and you!) she agreed to share her recipe.

This recipe is super quick and packed full of flavor thanks to thai chilis (straight from Ree’s garden!) and holy basil (from Crystal Organic Farm). Ree makes hers with ground pork, but ground chicken, turkey or beef can easily be substituted.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 bulb garlic, minced
  • 2 lbs ground pork
  • 1/4 lb chili peppers, diced (adjust amount based on spice preference)
  • 2 tsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tsp duck sauce
  • 2 tsp light soy sauce
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 red bell peppers, sliced
  • 2 bunches Fresh Tulsi (AKA Holy Basil), leaves only (no stems)
  • Salt, to taste
